Talkies Widgets are like speed-dial buttons to your bots.
Tapping a widget on your home screen connects you to that bot. You can have a widget for every bot.
I have a MrKnowItAll widget and a Journal widget. A tap on MrKnowItAll opens a chat window to MrKnowItAll. A tap on Journal opens my Journal.
To create a widget…
On an Android phone:
Tap and hold the Talkies icon.
Then tap “Widgets”.
Then drag the widget onto your home screen.
Then pick a bot from the list.
On an iPhone:
Tap and hold the home screen.
Then tap “+” or “Edit” and “Add widget” in the upper right corner.
Tap Talkies in the widgets list, then “Add Widget”.
Tap and hold the widget icon, then tap “Edit Widget”.
Tap “Choose”. Then pick a bot name from the list.
