Welcome to the Talkies Bot Store community.
This Code of Conduct sets out expectations for all users who publish bots or engage in discussions on the Talkies Blog.
By using the Store, you agree to follow these guidelines.
For Bot Publishers
When you publish a Talkies bot to the Store:
1. Respect Intellectual Property
- Only publish bots that you created or that you have full rights to share.
- Do not copy or redistribute other creators’ bots without permission.
2. Follow the Law
- Bots must not promote or facilitate illegal activity, including fraud, hate speech, harassment, or the distribution of malicious software.
3. Keep It Safe and Respectful
- No obscene, violent, or otherwise harmful content.
- Bots should not include discriminatory, hateful, or harassing behavior toward any group or individual.
4. Be Honest
- Provide accurate descriptions of what your bot does.
- Do not mislead users about your bot’s features, functionality, or safety.
5. Maintain Quality
- Ensure your bot functions as described and does not disrupt the Store or other users’ experience.
- Update your bot if you discover major bugs.
For Blog Posts and Comments
When posting to the Talkies Blog:
1. Be Respectful
- Treat other users with kindness and courtesy.
- No harassment, threats, hate speech, or personal attacks.
2. Stay On Topic
- Posts and comments should relate to Talkies, bots, or the Bot Store community.
- Avoid spam, irrelevant promotions, or repeated off-topic content.
3. Keep It Clean
- No obscene or offensive language or images.
4. Contribute Constructively
- Share feedback, ideas, and criticism in a helpful, respectful manner.
- Celebrate creativity and encourage others.
5. Respect Privacy
- Do not share private information (yours or others’) in posts or comments.
Enforcement
- Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in the removal of bots, deletion of posts or comments, suspension, or permanent removal from the Store.
- The Talkies team reserves the right to interpret and enforce this Code at its discretion.
